THREE COATINGS.
ONE RIGHT FIT.

Three different finishes, because a newer rust-free SUV and an older salt-exposed truck shouldn't automatically get the same product.

01 / PENETRATING PROTECTION
SOFT · NON-DRYING
GREAT FOR OLDER VEHICLES

Fluid Film®

Non-drying protection designed to creep into seams and help slow existing surface corrosion. A smart maintenance choice for salt-exposed daily drivers.

  • Excellent for older vehicles
  • Works with light existing surface rust
  • Typically inspected/reapplied yearly

02 / THICKER PROTECTION
SOFT · HIGH VISCOSITY
GREAT FOR WINTER DRIVERS

Original Woolwax®

A thicker, non-drying lanolin-based coating designed to resist wash-off on exposed underbody metal. It remains a maintenance coating—not a hard shell.

  • Suitable for vehicles with surface rust
  • Durable, thicker protective film
  • Inspect annually; touch up as needed

03 / LONG-TERM FINISH
DRY · HARD-SHELL
FOR ELIGIBLE CLEAN VEHICLES

Woolwax Hard-On™

A permanent-style hard-shell coating for properly prepared, compatible, rust-free exterior metal. Dries matte black; not the same as soft Woolwax.

  • Best on clean, suitable surfaces
  • Prep and inspection required
  • Approximately 72-hour full cure
CHECK HARD-ON ELIGIBILITY ↗

Important: Hard-On is not applied directly over rust or oily treatments. Even minor surface rust requires an in-person eligibility assessment and any necessary preparation. See manufacturer guidance ↗

SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Your vehicle's actual condition determines eligibility; its model year is a useful starting point, not a guarantee.

Our general rule: For vehicles older than 2020, or showing light surface rust, we usually recommend starting with Fluid Film or Original Woolwax. Customers with newer, clean vehicles can ask us to inspect for Hard-On. Light rust does not automatically qualify for a hard coating.
